Responsibilities
Position Summary:
This position has responsibility for partnering with California Region facilities to coordinate and manage the preparation of the Annual Operating and Capital Budgets, Long Range Financial Forecast, financial planning and reporting.
The incumbent will also provide analysis and support for performance improvement initiatives across the region and develop and lead revenue cycle initiative.
Responsibilities:
Identify the approved projects, gather required data and complete schedules
Manage the process and coordinate with Strategy to gather, evaluate and prioritize requests for major projects approval
Set up and fund projects in Axiom that are approved as major projects
Analyze CY spend levels to identify projects that will require carryover funding
Manage the process to gather, evaluate and prioritize requests for approval at the Division level.
Set up, fund and procesols in Axiom all projects approved by National: Majors, Infrastructure, Sustainability, Omnicell, Cath Labs, Infant Warmers, etc
Hire, recruit, train, supervise, discipline, and evaluate the performance of staff.
Encourages and uses positive human resource practices throughout the department, including: mentoring, using performance management techniques - setting objectives, providing feedback, evaluating results, defining roles and responsibilities with direct reports, training and developing staff, using coaching/counseling to improve or sustain performance and making effective hiring, promotion, transfer, scheduling, disciplinary, and termination decisions.
Qualifications
Experience /Education:
5 years hospital-related healthcare finance experience and 5 years management and leadership experience (required)
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (required).
Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
Pay Range
$56.
