Who You Are
Kriya’s summer intern will be a 40-hour/week position onsite in our CA office or virtual/work from home.
Kriya’s summer intern will have the opportunity to develop technical and accounting expertise.
Through our summer internship, intern students develop a professional network, and learn how to work in a scientific and engineering environment.
How You Contribute
Kriya’s intern will be involved in general support of accounting and finance staff assigned projects based on the individual’s interest and skill set.
Areas of involvement could be support of accounts payable and month-end close activities.
The successful candidate will be motivated, curious, and hard-working, with the ability to think creatively and learn quickly to contribute to successful and timely completion of goals.
What You Bring to the Team
Education & Experience
Intern: rising Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s or associate’s in Accounting, Finance Business, Economics or related discipline
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Competencies
The following experiences are a plus:
Possess a basic knowledge of accounting principles, including US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
Savvy with learning and using software and computer applications
Attention to detail and accuracy and ability to manage time effectively
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Must demonstrate leadership and initiative and be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and execute objectives to drive projects to completion with minimal supervision
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
Work is normally performed in an office.
