As a Financial Management Technician, you'll be managing resources and financial operations as part of the Army's Finance and Comptroller Corps.
You'll use your expertise in math to provide financial advice and recommendations for units looking to purchase services and supplies for their missions.
You'll also be in charge of military pay, overseeing services with commercial vendors, auditing, accounting, banking operations, and more.
This job position will teach you skills in finance management.
You will learn the basics of accounting principles and procedures as well as analyzing financial data.
You must start by passing the ASVAB These tests help the Army to decide what skills you might be good at.
You must pass with at least a score of 101 on the Clerical (CL) portion of the ASVAB.

You will learn to work with large sums of U.

and foreign currencies to ensure that the Army’s finances continue running smoothly for all parties.
After you have you have completed all forms and enlisting for this entry level position you will enter boot camp (10 weeks of basic combat training) followed by 9 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.
