*The Role*
The People & Culture Generalist position is depicted as a crucial role within BurnBot's rapidly growing team.
The ideal candidate should possess a broad range of HR skills, including but not limited to general administration, talent development, people operations, employee culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and total rewards.
The role involves daily people operations, such as employee engagement, recruiting, benefits administration, leadership accountability, and payroll support.
BurnBot’s expected starting range for a People & Culture Generalist, at the time of this posting, is $80,000 - $90,000.

*Required Skills*
* Drive for a Supportive Work Environment: Creating and maintaining a supportive work environment across the organization.
* Culture Development: Assisting in developing a positive, mission-driven culture through employee satisfaction and engagement.
* People Support: Providing support to employees through problem-solving and addressing employment-related inquiries.
* Hiring Processes: Managing full-cycle hiring processes, including creating job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and advising on hiring decisions.
* Training and Development: Creating training programs compliant with BurnBot's mission and culture, including orientation and department-specific training.
* People Operations: Managing HRIS, performance management processes, administrative compliance, and total rewards.
* Benefits Administration: Supporting benefits administration, including open enrollment and vendor relationships.
* Onboarding: Delivering new hire orientation and ensuring completion of required paperwork.
* Location and Schedule: Working in the South San Francisco office as needed.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications*
* Passion for BurnBot’s mission.
* Bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent experience
* 3+ years of progressive HR experience.
* Experience collaborating across departments, multiple locations, and time zones.
* Working knowledge of US federal, state (California, Nevada and Oregon) and local employment laws and benefits.
* Highly analytical and metrics driven, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
Including listening, responding and assisting with a positive, of service mindset.
* High level of integrity and dependability with a strong bias for action and accountability.
* Physical ability to lift/push/pull weights of up to 25 lbs with regularity and sit for long periods of time.
*It would be cool if…*
* Completion or progress towards SHRM/PHR certification.
* Experience in startup or small business environments.
