*Sitters in the Otter Community -*
* Have relevant childcare experience - they may have experience as a babysitter, nanny, tutor or camp counselor or working at a daycare, preschool, elementary school, or after-school program.
* Will complete Otter's skills assessment, submit a background check, and have references who can speak to their childcare experience.
* Readily engage their excellent communication skills when talking and texting with parents to build trusting relationships.
* Show they are reliable and responsible by arriving to all care sessions on time and ready to focus on providing a wonderful care experience for children.
* Can prioritize adaptability and flexibility - they easily adjust to each family's needs and expectations.
