Office
The facility operates out of a 4,800 sq.
ft.
facility, with a fully equipped laboratory and office space.
1500 sq ft of office space includes audio/video conference capabilities, high-speed internet access, and conference rooms and common areas for meetings.
There is a 600 sq ft mezzanine that is equipped with conference room equipment and comfortable sofa chairs and couches.
Our location in the San Carlos area facilitates easy access to nearby resources at MBC Biolabs, UCSF, and Labcorp.
There are two half bathrooms on the first floor level.
Laboratory
The laboratory space occupies 2000 square feet.
Isla’s R&D and manufacturing space contains fully equipped labs with state-of-the-art instrumentation, including an in-house fluorescent microscope and camera, a Clariostar plate reader (absorbance, fluorescence and luminescence) with atmosphere control unit, four 6-foot Class A2 Biosafety Cabinets, one 6-ft horizontal laminar flow hood, two stereo microscopes, Permegear side-by-side diffusion chambers, peristaltic and centrifugal pumps, four CO2 incubators for cell culture, pipettors, light microscope, autoclaves, refrigerators, -20 degree C freezers, water baths, pH meters, cell counters, shakers, centrifuges, vacuum, and multiple laboratory benches.
Warehouse
The Facility has a 1500 sq.
ft warehouse space (no HVAC) with a large roll-up door to move large items into and out of the facility and 600 sq.
ft of cool mezzanine set up for meetings or friendly gatherings.
All has dedicated parking and a 220 plug to charge your electric vehicle!
