The role is for a full-stack developer to provide value-driven Factory Software solutions from backend data services and front end UI development and services.
This is both an application design and development role as well as collaboration with global teams (both internal and external to Ford) to deliver the capabilities of the platform.
Candidate should possess a strong passion for technology, innovation, software craftsmanship, leadership and improving the customer experience.
The minimum requirements we seek:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
5+ years of experience in a technical/software engineer role
Our preferred requirements:
Experience designing/implementing APIs/Microservices/Springboot framework/Google Cloud Run/Google Cloud Data Flow/Kubernetes
Experience designing/implementing application visualizations using Angular/React/Python web frameworks.
Background and knowledge of Data Engineering principles and technologies.
Passion for creating quality, test-driven applications.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, design patterns, and software architecture.
Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.
g.
, JIRA).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Experience with Git and version control systems.
