RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Software Engineering Intern with Mainspring Energy, you'll be part of our manufacturing software automation team.
Your focus will be on streamlining functional test processes within manufacturing to ensure the quality and performance of Mainspring's Linear Generator.
This position provides practical exposure to software development and involves working closely with various teams across the organization.
The internship is located at Mainspring Headquarters in Menlo Park, California, and requires primarily on-site presence.
During the internship you would,
Support the creation, enhancement, and evaluation of software applications.
Work closely with senior engineers to grasp project needs and provide effective solutions.
Produce clear, optimized, and thoroughly documented code.
Contribute to ongoing enhancements and optimizations.
Stay informed about current industry trends and software development methodologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields such as controls, mechatronics, computer science or systems engineering
Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and data structures
Proficiency in Python
Good working knowledge of linux CLI and file system
Familiarity with version control systems (eg:GitLab)
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
The Bay Area salary for this role is $27-35/hour.
This position is on-site in our Menlo Park facility.
The salary will be adjusted to reflect the experience of the employee.
