Consider before submitting an application:
This position is expected to start around May 2024 and continue through the entire Summer term (i.
e.
through August 2024) or into Fall 2024 if available.
We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying.
You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site.
Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

Electrical Engineering Internship
Looking for an electrical engineering intern to assist with design and validation of battery test equipment.
Day to day activities may include circuit design, PCB layout, bench testing, hardware failure analysis, and scripting for test automation.
Electrical Design Engineer Internship
Tesla cell manufacturing team is driving unprecedented levels of integration within our cell manufacturing operations.
This requires tight collaboration between electrical, mechanical, firmware and software engineering teams.
Through this effort Tesla plans to achieve the necessary cell manufacturing throughput and cost reduction to drive the transition to renewable energy use.
What You’ll Bring
Please note that the skills listed below are suggestions and not strict prerequisites
Currently pursuing Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Preference to candidate with basic knowledge of power converters and experience in Altium (or other PCB layout software) and Python
Fundamentals in physics and first principles engineering
Capable of understanding electrical schematics
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits
MOSFETs, op-amps, switching regulators, gate drivers, microcontrollers, common board level communication protocols
Experience with basic lab tools: multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, soldering
