Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Design and build secure SaaS solutions: design and implement complex software and frameworks for security analytics components
• Shape the future: influence and guide future product direction by contributing to the architecture and frameworks across diverse product lines, working with big data, machine learning, and AI
• Drive scalability and growth: evaluate and recommend technology solutions aligned with scalability and growth targets, prototyping and executing phased development and deployment plans
• Champion quality control: follow best practices for secure, test-driven SaaS development, ensuring controlled release of complex functionality with minimal customer impact
• Agile execution: thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating agility and efficiency in project execution
• Collaborative spirit: actively participate in design and code reviews, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
• Support and reliability: participate in rotational on-call duties for SaaS services, ensuring operational stability and customer responsiveness
Qualifications
Required Skills / Experience:
• BSc/BEng/MSc/ in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
• 3+ years of software development experience in a distributed system environment.
• Proficient with Python used for scalable distributed system backend development.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Expertise with full-text search engines such as Elastic Search.
• Cloud native development experience in any of AWS, GCP, Azure (AWS Preferred).
• Experience delivering software instrumented with observability
• Onsite work at our Redwood City location.
Desired Skills/Experience:
• Experience with enterprise security products, such as SIEMs, Proxies, Content-Aware Firewalls, IDS/IPS, host monitoring systems, etc.

• Deep knowledge of Python standard libraries and frameworks
• Prior experience with distributed database systems.

$160,000 - $190,000 USD
Please note that the annual base salary range is a guideline and, for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location, as well as, knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate.
In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for benefits, and may be eligible for equity.
