As a Solutions Architect on the team, you think holistically about technology, the tools themselves, and the systems and processes that support them.
Your role contributes significantly to designing, configuring, administering, and maintaining our business systems.
Additionally, you will play a key role in business process design, change management, and training.
Your role requires developing an in-depth understanding of our current systems, their usage, and the user experience.
With this knowledge, you'll be able to guide key stakeholders and internal partners towards areas for improvement—identifying and prioritizing process changes or system enhancements.
You will select the appropriate technology tool, system, or approach for each project based on its scope, timeline, and available resources.
You will navigate a diverse technology landscape, including SaaS products, custom solutions, and tools built on productivity suites.

CORE DUTIES: Translate business processes into system requirements and/or development of systems solutions.
Analyze new business requirements, assist with feasibility of enhancement requests, system functionality, current system use and user needs.
Specify functional analysis and design and work with developers and analysts to recommend solutions and resolve system issues.
Review, research and evaluate software to determine its usefulness and appropriateness as related to existing or proposed business systems; assist or develop preliminary and detailed system design documentation.
Perform testing of new systems, upgrades and patching of existing systems; plan, conduct and document results of testing.
Develop instructional materials, training and job aids.
Advise users requiring assistance in solving complex problems or issues regarding management and business systems.
Analyze data and provide data sets to users for analysis.
May include development of operational and analytical reports for end users.
Liaise with external vendors or partners in support of business systems, which may include system development, implementation and/or operations.
Coordinate the implementation of new or modified business systems.
ADDITIONAL CORE DUTIES: Provide system administration, configuration, and data management support for business systems, including Portfolio App, HubSpot, Salesforce, AwardForce, Workvivo, and other tools built in Smartsheet, Google Workspace, and Microsoft O365.
Conduct thorough current state analysis and gap analyses to identify process improvement opportunities, finding the right balance between what's needed and what's possible with our resources.
Guide the creation of new solutions by offering strategy, project plans, and product roadmaps, collaborating closely with business partners and your BETS team colleagues in strategy, planning, risk management, and implementation.
Direct the design of information architecture for both custom application development and SaaS product modification.
This includes designing data models and contributing to design of user interfaces.
Essential documents you will produce include sitemaps, low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, as well as requirements and specifications that incorporate design assumptions and business logic.
Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate seamless transitions to new systems and processes.
This includes creating onboarding programs, training materials, and clear communication plans for both stakeholders and end-users.
Contribute to the strategy, planning, and coordination of a technology training program designed to provide professional development opportunities across the organization.
This program leverages internal experts and external vendors with the aim of boosting overall productivity and equipping employees with new skills in key technologies, such as business applications, productivity tools, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity awareness.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration by actively participating in the Hoover Way, which leverages Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
Engage as a developer and work with Product Owners to define products, write effective backlog items, and prioritize their backlogs.
