Job Posting: Medical Receptionist / Inside Sales Associate

We are seeking to hire an organized, kind, and positive individual who is warm and friendly with a calm disposition and exhibits exceptional communication and customer service skills.
You have a full understanding of the importance and adherence to patient confidentiality.
The ideal candidate is happy to work just one day a week but has a flexible schedule and is willing to cover for staff as needed for sick and vacation days.
You present yourself as socially mature, understand the importance of being patient-focused, and will comfortably provide concierge-level service to all our patients.
It is preferred that you have at least one year of relevant experience in a plastic, cosmetic, and/or dermatology environment and to be successful in this role, sales experience is beneficial, as you will be required to convert inquiries into consultation appointments and book numerous services.
You can handle patient and office situations in a timely, calm, and effective manner.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Patient communications (phone, e-mail, written)
* Answering phones, screening calls to direct as appropriate and acting as first point of contact for patients and other physician offices
* Ensuring incoming requests are dealt with timely (email, phone, fax)
* Appointment scheduling and confirmation
* Checking patients in and out and ensuring intake data is complete and accurate
* Over the counter collections of fees for services
* Maintaining patients charts electronically on EMR/EHR
* Maintaining the front office and inventory
* Keeping an up-to-date knowledge of aesthetic services and practices
* Willingness to jump in and help with other practice tasks as needed.
The ideal candidate possesses the following skills and experience:
* 1+ years’ experience in a plastic surgery / med spa / dermatology / medical office and an understanding of HIPAA
* Sales and high end customer service experience
* Well-organized, confident, kind, positive, team player
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (through all modes of communication)
* Excellent computer skills (use of MS Word, MS Excel, Internet, Apple systems and software) and EMR/EHR experience
* Comfortable promoting the practice and assisting in Social Marketing efforts
* Self-motivated to take initiative to learn about new products, procedures, and trends in the aesthetic industry
Job Type: Part-time, hourly
Schedule: 1 day/week on M, T, W, TH or F from 9:00 am-5:00 pm.
Will be called upon to work additional hours to cover for staff on sick and/or vacation days and periodically for events or other activities.
This position could turn into a full-time position over time, or stay as a part-time role.
Salary: $27.
00 - $30.
00 per hour
