Medical Front Desk Coordinator

Job description Pediatric Urgent Care Clinic in San Mateo is seeking an experienced part-time receptionist to work a minimum of 2 shifts a week plus two weekend shifts per month.
The clinic is open Monday - Friday 5-10pm.
Saturday & Sunday and major Holidays 10am -10pm.
Shifts for the weekend & Holidays are from 9:45am to 3:30 pm or from 3:30 to 10 pm.
Everybody must work at least two weekend shifts a month and a minimum of one major Holiday per year.
Duties include greeting and registering patients.
Verifying insurances and collecting co-pays, and keeping careful totals of all money collected.
Managing patient charts and faxing to primary providers.
Knowledge of Windows-based software programs is a must.
Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
Punctuality and reliability is very important.
Spanish speaking is a bonus.
