Airplane crashes SF area (Millbrae)

I am looking for information about two air plane crashes in the SF area and can’t find them.
The first is probably easier.
It left SFO for Asia in the late summer or early fall of 2019 and disappeared en route.
They couldn’t find the wreckage for quite awhile.
I believe they eventually located it not that far from SF but I’m not sure.
This was national news and I’m surprised I can’t locate it.
The second was a prop plane that took off from a small private strip in the SF area in late 2019 or before August of 2020.
It had a mechanical failure and went down.
It was a small company that offered flight tours.
I am less expectant of finding this one.
