Hello my name is Chris Granillo Muralist in the Bay Area.
Working across California for more than twenty years, I am a self-taught, Chicano fine and public artist whose work centers capturing and honoring community resilience and ways of being.
My application of surreal and abstract styles reflects the struggles of everyday life as local communities interact with their environment.
I am experienced working with oil and acrylic paints on canvas, wood panels and large scale, and in making relief prints, etchings and sculpture.
