About the Role: Wing is looking for an enthusiastic Product Counsel who's ready to change the world of aviation and join our Legal Team based in Palo Alto, CA.
The ideal candidate has a passion for all things aviation, particularly enabling commercial deliveries using a fleet of autonomous drones, and has demonstrated knowledge of the legal requirements to build a successful, scalable business on an international basis.
Regulatory, IP and general Product Counsel expertise is highly preferred.
What You'll Do: Support and advise business and technical teams on a wide variety of matters, including corporate and transactional matters, regulatory matters, and product development.
Protect Wing's technology assets by assisting with the filing and registration of intellectual property.
Work closely with Wing's Policy and Government Affairs teams on legislative and regulatory matters concerning drones.
Advise on general compliance matters in the areas of trade and export controls.
What You'll Need: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Member of state and local bar associations in good standing 7+ years legal experience with subject matter expertise in regulatory, IP, product counsel, and general transactional.
Fluency translating legal advice into strategic, actionable guidance for innovative product and business teams Impeccable written and oral communication skills, and high attention to detail without sacrificing sense of urgenc Ability to prioritize, and manage projects effectively with minimal supervision Intellectual curiosity and practical business judgment and problem-solving skills Self-motivated executor with ability to take action with little direction, even when faced with lots of ambiguity Operate with respect, desire to collaborate, communicate and work across time zones to get the best outcomes for the company The US base salary range for this full-time position is the salary range below + bonus + equity + benefits.
