As a member of Noah Medical’s Software Test team, you will take ownership in developing test methods, testing software from multiple subsystems, execute test protocols, report test results, write test reports, report and verify defects, and analyze data for the evaluation of the performance of a medical robotics system.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with other software test engineers, software engineers, and product designers as you contribute to the overall quality of the software.

A Day In The Life Of Our Software Test Technician Assist in the execution of software verification and validation activities for medical device projects.
Collaborate with the testing team to understand and analyze software requirements.
Execute test cases, document results, and report defects in a clear and concise manner.
Support the development of test plans and test protocols for medical device software.
Work closely with senior engineers to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Conduct routine testing activities, including functional, performance, and reliability testing.
Scripting and Python programming knowledge is a plus.
Perform troubleshooting and debugging of software issues, working collaboratively with the development team.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of testing procedures and results.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodologies.
About You Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.
g.
, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline).
2-5 years of experience in software testing, with exposure to medical device verification and validation.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, such as ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 is a plus.
Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to follow test plans and procedures accurately.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing techniques.
Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location.
Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed.
Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.
