Short Role Description / Purpose:
The Compliance Director - Policies, Training, and Communication is responsible for the ongoing development of policies and the execution of the Corporate Compliance training and communication plan.
This includes strategic consulting with internal and external stakeholders; gap analysis of existing policies; creation of policies, as well as the development, and delivery of content; role-based curricula development; and management of operations related to the Dompé learning management system.
This role is also responsible for measuring communications and training effectiveness for the stakeholders whom the Compliance Team serves.

Compliance Officer, this role will serve as a member of the U.
S.
compliance team, while supporting the Company’s Code of Conduct and overall U.
S.
compliance strategy and culture in conjunction with the regulations of regulatory agencies, company policies and procedures, and the company’s Healthcare Compliance Program.
Location: Candidate must reside on West coast with preference for those who reside in San Francisco Bay Area.
Responsibilities:
Development and ongoing maintenance of Dompé policies and procedures and Code of Conduct
Perform advanced research to identify the latest regulation changes, proposed rules and materials from the OIG, PhRMA, FDA, as well as state and local laws.
Understand impact of rules changes and guide process improvements and training development
Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding policy interpretation.
Develop strategy and execute training program to ensure understanding of and adherence to the Corporate Compliance Program and related compliance policies and procedures
Work closely with the Compliance officer to make budget recommendations for impactful and foundational training resources.
Develop and execute Corporate Compliance Communications plan to ensure understanding of compliance standards and promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior
Confidently own and make recommendations on compliance requirements and process changes
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required; relevant advanced (i.
e: JD) degree preferred;
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech organization with at least 7 years in a compliance function;
Strong understanding of state and Federal healthcare laws and regulations as well as industry-related codes;
Small company experience with focus on policy, training and communications preferred; Strong interpersonal and management skills.
Technical Expertise:
Demonstrated proficiency in learning management and development and implementation of communications and training initiatives is required.
Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors learning management system a plus.
Excellent organizational, project management, prioritization, interpersonal, influencing, written/oral communication skills.
Ability to communicate progress and results clearly and concisely in a timely manner and engage and align others with process and drive execution.
Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel meeting deadlines and keeping stakeholders updated accordingly.
Understand current issues and trends and use that information for policy creation, training and communication strategies.
Leverage new and emerging technology (e.
g.
, data analytics tools, training platforms) to drive program effectiveness.

$180,000 - $235,000 a year
