We are seeking an ambitious and accomplished Chief Product Officer to join our executive team and spearhead the growth of our SaaS company.
In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping and executing our product strategy, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the success of our cloud storage products in the market.

What you will be doing? You will be a key member of the executive team reporting to the CEO, and will lead the global product strategy and guide the organization through effective management and leadership: Product Management Oversight: Develop comprehensive strategies for our cloud storage products, aligning with market demands and customer needs.
Identify trends, assess competition, and drive storage solutions that differentiate Backblaze in the market.
Product & Platform Development: Lead product discovery for our product and platform development work collaborating closely with our engineering, Cloud Operations, and Office of the CTO teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality storage solutions.
Technology Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest storage technologies and industry advancements.
Evaluate new technologies and make informed decisions on their integration into our product offerings.
Customer Centric Approach: Create a positive and meaningful experience for customers.
Roadmap Development: Develop and communicate a clear storage product roadmap.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies.
Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing product team, setting clear goals, providing mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What do you bring to the table? Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the Cloud/Storage/SaaS industry.
An innovation-focused, customer centric approach to Product Management.
Deep understanding of the Cloud/Storage market landscape, trends, and customer needs.
Prior responsibility for high-growth product lines generating $100m+ in revenue.
Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) product areas.
Track record of developing and executing successful product strategies that drive revenue growth and market differentiation.
Strategic mindset to identify market opportunities and translate to actionable product plans.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including building high-performing teams and effectively interact with clients and team members.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

The base pay range for this position is $290K to $320K.
