Nurse Manager

Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage a team of registered nurses and healthcare professionals - Develop and implement nursing care plans for patients - Conduct patient assessments and provide appropriate medical treatments - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care - Utilize medical records systems to maintain accurate patient information - Demonstrate proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control measures - Provide specialized care for patients with developmental disabilities, memory care needs, and other specific conditions - Supervise and train nursing staff on proper procedures and protocols - Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing department Requirements: - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license - Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role in a healthcare setting - Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques and medical treatments - Familiarity with neonatal ventilators, suturing, and other specialized equipment or procedures - Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or other complex needs - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and time management abilities - Demonstrated ability to lead a team and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
