Summary: As part of ICN the Business Technology Platform (BTP) AI Center of Excellence (CoE) team based out of Silicon Valley, you will spearhead our efforts to research and prototype new AI BTP offerings, create strategic platform partnerships within the AI ecosystem, and help positioning SAP as the leading AI thought leader for enterprise solutions.
About the team: The mission of the SAP Innovation Center Network (ICN) is to contextualize and pioneer emerging technologies that will be foundational for the future success of SAP and of our customers.

As part of ICN the Business Technology Platform (BTP) AI Center of Excellence (CoE) team based out of Silicon Valley, you will spearhead our efforts to research and prototype new AI BTP offerings, create strategic platform partnerships within the AI ecosystem, and help positioning SAP as the leading AI thought leader for enterprise solutions About the Role: Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts with expert knowledge in Large Language Models, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, NLP An outstanding Product Owner who will work cross-functionally across many disciplines and organizations You will play a pivotal role in leading a new and dynamic team with a mission to embed cutting-edge AI technology to our offerings.
Your primary responsibility will be to drive innovation and differentiation within our products and services by leveraging Artificial Intelligence.
This includes domain knowledge of AI, product knowledge depth, people management, design thinking, ability to enable agile scrum teams, alliance builder; and the ability to effectively communicate and work with upper management.
Lead an AI Team with ML/Data Scientists, guiding them in developing cutting-edge AI prototypes.
Drive product definition for the team and oversee the end-to-end prototyping process, from conceptualization to deployment.
Conduct research on the latest AI advancements and implement them into prototype projects.
Provide technical mentorship and support to team members.
Present and communicate prototype results to stakeholders and executives.
Job Requirements: 5+ years of AI/ML and Product Owner experience where you led the team from product definition through development and delivery.
Experience with Large Language Models, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, NLP Expertise and Proven track record in AI/ML and a desire to expand it Experience in Agile development Ability to get your hands dirty and dig into detail when needed Desire to know your products in detail Ability to clearly communicate complex issues to leadership and to customers Conceptual understanding of architectures and technical constraints to make sure designs scale and perform and are easy to uptake.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role.
The targeted combined range for this position is 177900 -392100 USD.
The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc.
as determined through the selection process.
Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
