IntelliSource is on the search for a skilled Culinary Operations Manager to lead our client’s culinary department.
This pivotal role encompasses the management of vendor relationships, project coordination, and operational logistics, with a strong focus on non-production capital expenditure, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
We aim for excellence in our services and seek a manager who will enhance internal customer satisfaction and uphold the highest standards and procedures.
What You'll Do: Develop and optimize operational systems, processes, and policies to improve management reporting, information flow, and inter-departmental coordination.
Cultivate and manage vendor partnerships, including sourcing, negotiation, and internal support.
Construct and present executive reports to senior management, highlighting the financial effects of capital expenditure decisions.
Analyze and refine the current production system to boost efficiency.
Facilitate collaboration with various department managers and team members to realize culinary projects and events.
Train, supervise, and evaluate both Tesla and contracted culinary staff to assure top performance and operational effectiveness.
Formulate and enforce sustainable operating procedures for the culinary department.
Manage projects from scope definition to labor resource allocation, ensuring timely and successful execution.
Investigate new technologies for heightened operational efficiency.
Manage budgets diligently and oversee costs effectively.
Work with designers and architects to innovate the design of culinary spaces.
Guide the professional development of team members, including conducting performance reviews.
Establish and track KPIs for all culinary program responsibilities.

What You'll Bring: Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration or a related field preferred.
Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience managing high-volume food & beverage operations.
Forecasting and Budgeting: Proficient in financial calculations and experience with budgeting and forecasting.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to learn technology platforms for the job; solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required, enabling you to analyze data, create reports, and perform other tasks effectively.
Dynamic Environment: Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Some Travel: A willingness to travel to various facilities and take on diverse tasks as needed.
Certifications: Food Manager Certification in hand or a commitment to secure Food Manager Certification within the first 30 days.
