The formation of the Consumer Services and Solutions organization is an important step to creating a more growth-oriented portfolio that builds lifelong relationships with customers by tailoring our offerings to the new ways people live, work, and play.
This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing activities for a specific software product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life.
Serves as the central resource with design, process, test, quality, and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution.
Translates user requirements into executable work items that the software engineering team can implement in the product.
Has the detailed technical knowledge necessary to explain feature requirements to developers and work with them to deliver these product improvements to end users.
Responsibilities
Monitors competitive market to determine client needs for certain product improvements.
Strategically partners with key senior stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
Recommends product requirements and definitions to align with stakeholder's needs.
Collaborates with the software engineering team on feature ideas and prototypes to bring potential solutions to life
Advises key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across all phases of the lifecycle
Plays a leadership role and drives the progress of the product management function
Tracks and reports key metrics to drive future product developments
Knowledge & Skills
Mastery of complex software systems, including enterprise, middleware, firmware, and embedded systems.
Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical audiences, to convey Software information and processes in a clear and concise fashion.
Software development experience, including demonstrated examples of management through influence and collaboration in a complex, multi-cultural global environment, building a culture of accountability.
Outstanding organizational and innovation skills.
Scope & Impact
Partners with sales, customer success, and support teams to define business requirements, product design, deployment, and adoption plans.
Acts as a subject matter expert and advises various internal, partner, and customer teams on the needs and requirements of target markets.
Provides guidance for junior team members.
Oversees the overall quality of work of the product management team.
Decisions with regard to products may have organizational impacts of up to a year.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in relevant area or demonstrated competence.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.

geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.
S.
is $137,000 to $211,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity.
Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
