Ashvattha Therapeutics Inc is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company developing products for the unmet medical needs utilizing a novel nanomedicine technology exclusively licensed from Johns Hopkins University.

We have product candidates in neurology, ophthalmology, and inflammation indications.
The Position
Reporting to the CFO, the Sr.
Director, Information Technology will build, lead, direct, and develop the IT organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of IT applications needed by all business functions.
Analyze the IT needs of the company and develop and maintain a robust IT roadmap including definition of project objectives, prioritization, and implementation plans.
This position will directly interact with the business functions on key initiatives and priorities and provide guidance as the knowledge expert and ensure successful execution and delivery of programs.
Create SOPs, Policies, and Process and System maps for applications.
Establish and enforce IT Governance and Change control amongst IT and business teams to prioritize and implement improvements for all enterprise systems.
Recommends and develops plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budgeting, and staffing.
Manages the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information technology infrastructure, and related functional systems for the organization.
Manage multiple vendors including completion of RFPs/RFIs where applicable, negotiating IT contracts, oversight of vendor fulfillment of contractual responsibilities, and monitoring Service Level Agreement performance.
Support regulatory agency inspections and internal and external audits including related to SOX 404 compliance.
Initially, this person will be responsible for providing hands-on end user support for IT systems and infrastructure.
As the company and its needs grow, this person will be responsible for building and managing the IT group.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science (B.
S.
) degree in a related disciple required.
Candidates must be able to work on site at our Redwood City facility, a minimum of 2 days per week.
This successful candidate is expected to have a minimum of 15 years of experience with at least 7 years of leadership experience in a senior level position within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Strategic mindset with the ability to identify needs, prioritize high-impact projects, and execute effectively.
Experience in a pharma/biotech organization with in-house clinical operations activities including specific experience working with Veeva is required.
Ability to serve as a player/coach - managing the day-to-day IT activities to maintain > 99% up-time for the organization while at the same time managing the budget, outside vendors and planning.
Experience in a public company including design, operation and testing of IT general and application controls including SOX 404 IT control testing.
Knowledge of 21 CFR FDA Part 11 guidance and previous experience implementing Part 11 compliant systems.
Experience with IT system validation and compliance requirements including HIPAA, GDPR and company governance regarding patient data privacy.
