About the Role: The Director of HR is responsible for driving talent and business outcomes for our growing organization.
You will own the HR and administration functions of our US office, working closely with other senior leaders to grow, develop, and retain our passionate employees.
You will report to the COO.
This is a hybrid role with our office in Mountain View.
What You Will Do
Own the HR and administrative functions for our US office.
This includes employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, training & development, comp & benefits, admin support, and office management.
You will build HR into a global function and take leadership over all HR functions globally.
Currently 2 offices across the US and Japan.
Partner with other senior leaders to build a strategy for growing and managing our rapidly expanding organization.
Anticipate the training needs of our employees, create training programs & resources, and implement them.
What We Are Looking For
10+ years of experience in HR at tech companies, with at least 2 at a senior management level.
Strong generalist skill set across the core areas of HR operations, talent management, and administration.
You can partner with different teams to understand their needs, build HR strategy with other leaders, and effectively execute plans within your team.
You have worked in global HR teams and understand how to align the HR function across them.
Excellent communication skills and experience working in multicultural environments.
A flexible attitude and entrepreneurial mindset.
Be willing to do what it takes, even if it's outside of your usual responsibility area.
Nice to Have
3+ years experience as an HR business partner.
Experience in change management related to acquisitions.
Experience at both small and large organizations.
Business level Japanese language is nice-to-have, but not a requirement for this position.
You will manage bilingual employees.
