Registered Nurse (RN)

DUTIES: - Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition.
- Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Perform basic nursing procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
REQUIREMENTS: - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Accepting newly licensed RN's.
- Knowledge of discharge planning, DME (Durable Medical Equipment), and occupational health practices.
- Experience working with children, including administering medications, tube feeding, and providing emotional support.
- Familiarity with assisted living facilities and the specific needs of elderly patients.
- Proficiency in IV infusion therapy and sterile processing techniques.
- Understanding of medical imaging procedures and the ability to assist with patient preparation.
- Ability to dialyze patients and monitor their response to treatment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
