The "Blue Beast"
For sale, a custom ordered C&C drum kit formerly owned by Mario Rubalcaba of OFF!, Earthless, Hot Snakes, etc.

5 ply maple/poplar with reinforcement rings, dark blue pearl wrap, with chrome single-ended "Deco" lugs(ala vintage Slingerland).
The drums are in very good condition, and lived in hard cases when not in use.
There are some minor dings, and scratches as expected with a kit that was used live and in the studio.
There are still some of the C&C branded Remo heads present on some of the drums.
Includes a full set of SKB hard cases.
Only the 28" case is showing significant road use, all of the rest are close to brand new.
Mario was a C&C endorsee for a few years, before getting on Ludwig.
As a result of his Ludwig endorsement, he could no longer be photographed playing this particular kit.
Us being long time friends, he offered to sell me the kit and it's been in my possession since 2015 or so.
This kit was primarily used in the studio, and on stage with OFF!, and Earthless(these are the drums on the From The Ages sessions).
It saw live duty as well with Hot Snakes, and probably a handful of Rocket From The Crypt shows.
We used the kit for maybe 1-2 years and then it went back into cases.
As far as we know this is one of a handful, if not the only 28" kick ever made by C&C in this configuration.
This kit was dubbed "The Blue Beast" by Mario, and there's a little drawing and lettering on the interior of the kick in felt pen by Mario.
Truly, a one of a kind kit when C&C was still primarily a custom order drum maker.
Local sale only, I am not considering shipping these at this time due to their size.
I can meet you within a reasonable distance of the San Francisco Bay Area, otherwise we'll have discuss options if you are elsewhere on the west coast.
No trades, and no dreamers.
I do not need any more music gear at this time.
This isn't Guitar Center, you cannot demo the drums and then think about it.
You either understand what these drums are, or do not.
