Great Sounding Peavey Classic 20 Amp W/Upgraded Speaker and Tubes - $420 (san mateo)

I'm strictly an apartment player, and the Classic 20 is--by far--the best headphone amp ever made.
Higher gain settings can be a little raspy, but with the Master Volume way up, and the first Volume around 3, you're treated to a warm and detailed sound that gets even better with a little delay, or a compression pedal.
A Roland Blues Cube 30 that I bought for the sake of comparison was not even close, tonally.
This well maintained and clean Peavey has about $160 in vintage tubes: 2 Valvo EL84s, and 2 Siemens ECC83 preamp tubes.
The speaker has also been upgraded to a Celestion Vintage 10.
This amp can also be used for lower volume gigs, or regular practice.
