About the Role
As a CBRE Assistant Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a single property or portfolio.
This includes marketing, operations, and financial activities.
This job is part of the Property Management job function.
They are responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.
What You’ll Do
Assist tenants with their needs and make sure problems are addressed quickly.
Make sure that services follow rules, agreements, and company standards.
Visit the property with the team and recommend changes, repairs, and upgrades to the property.
Assist the team with basic administrative duties.
This includes the creation of purchase orders, submitting invoices for payment, and forwarding invoices to accounting.
Review and approve vendor invoices to make sure they are correct.
Assist with creating the budget by researching prices for supplies and services and creating reports.
Coordinate moving tenants in and out of the property.
Approve and review all tenant bills for distribution.
Help with the preparation of common area maintenance dues, invoices, and related correspondence.
Manage tenant events and appreciation.
Approve the publication of the tenant newsletter.
Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent.
May recommend new techniques.
Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related.
Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.
What You’ll Need:
High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.
Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
Advanced math skills.
Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
California Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience.
The minimum salary for the Assistant Property Manager position is $80,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Assistant Property Manager position is $91,000 annually.
The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
