Hi,
I'm seeking a room to rent on a Park Service budget.
For the past two years, I have worked (and lived) at Point Reyes National Seashore.
Recently, I accepted a permanent position, and I now am in need of a new place to live - plus it would be nice to live in a town again.
I am 33 years old, work full time, always lived with housemates/shared living environments.
I enjoy being active by trail running, cycling, & backpacking, while I also appreciate home building in ways such as cooking, gardening, general maintenance and carpentry.
At home, I am clean, orderly with my space/use of space, and respectful of the people I live with.
Conversation and spending quality time with housemates is always a plus, while space to decompress and work on my projects or books is also an appreciated part of the house dynamic and balance.
My work life consists of a M-Fr (730-5) work week with every other Friday off.
Occasional possibility to work remote, though most of my work is fieldwork in PRNS.
What I am looking for:
Preferably, I seek a room plus some shared space (living room/kitchen - normal things to wish for).
A positive and peaceful place to call home.
And, my budget is tight.
.
.
I can easily afford something around $800, while $1000 is pushing it on the government wages.
