Seeking Responsible, Stable, Social Roommate for Female and Pup (ESA / landlord permitted)
(images for attention)
The nitty gritty:
Moving to the South Bay, preferably San Mateo - Palo Alto / Mountain Gate area.
Timing is a move-in of approximately mid-March - mid April, but can be flexible for the right situation.
My range is 1700 - 2700, negotiable based on the space we each occupy.
Ideally looking for a house, townhouse, or condo, but am open to an apartment if it's the right size / price.
I work from home, so would want a master bedroom or two smaller rooms to fit a desk comfortably.
Not looking to live with a couple; just one roommate or two separate roommates in a larger place.
I would love to find a roommate I can eat meals with; play board games; and host occasional, small get togethers with.
Open to:
- look for and get a place together
- you have a place already and want to share
No matter which scenario, it is important that we both feel like it is our home and neither feels like they are “renting a room”.
We will blend our things in the mutual space however it makes the most sense.
About me:
I am in my 40's and work in the tech industry.
I work from home, do light cooking and ordering in about 50/50, meditate, watch tv, do puzzles, games, small craft projects, and have puppy play dates.
I’ll be new to the area, but the last place I made a home, I rode my motorcycle and volunteered on weekends and made daily dog park visits.
I’m pretty quiet and have minimal guests, and am always respectful when I do.
Preference is for a ‘shoes off’ household, but not super strict about it.
I’m not a clean freak, but dislike consistent clutter, and I pay for a housekeeper over doing the cleaning myself.
About the pup:
He is a living teddy bear: a small, hypoallergenic and non-shedding < 2 yr old Maltipoo.
He is certified ESA which means that landlords cannot deny him and there are no additional fees.
He has a wonderful disposition; he is sweet, playful, well-socialized, obedient, and cuddly.
He is fully potty trained and won’t go inside.
Minimal barking - only with outside noises near the door / knocking / doorbell.
He loves to play and nap.
About you:
You are in your 30’s-50’s, out of your party years, responsible, not a big drinker or smoker (I don’t, but light 420 ok), you believe in open, honest communication, and love dogs, maybe even have one of your own (more about mine later).
You are of course employed and financially stable with good credit.
I bring the same.
If it sounds like we may be a good fit, reach out.
We can chat about what we are looking for and share social medias.
Let's created a great space together!
If this is still up, I'm still looking.
I won't respond to emails that seem like spam.
