Artist seeks Housing (Santa Cruz)

Hello and greetings! Looking for housing for myself and my cat.
I am what is considered a creative type and get along well with those who are the same.
Fact be I get along with everyone.
I am late 50's male, single one vehicle.
Low key but not anti social.
My cat was a feral originally put on the property to keep mice down.
She and i decided we are a pair plus I wanted to give her a better life.
We both like rural areas and nature.
I can pay 1000.

I would require a little space for storage but not a great deal.
Would also need internet too.
Ideally would be living with painters, musicians, writers who value culture.
Have many interests in life, aware and engaged.
No alcohol or drugs parties etc.
I do enjoy 420 occasionally.
Given I work in the construction trades have the skills tools and ability to make any property better.
Perhaps you have a space you want to convert into a rental I can do that.

Not looking to trade rather looking for a place that is clean and safe and to be around people who are uplifting positive and compassionate.
In my world friendships are more valuable than money.
