The bedroom is charming, filled with light and with architectural details and a bay window that looks out onto a lemon tree and garden.
The apartment has a living room whose bay window looks onto the cable car line.
There is one split bath.
The street is quiet.
I am a woman in my 60s who is easygoing and has gotten along well with roommates of all ages.
I prefer a roommate who is fully employed and who works away from home at least part of the time.
The apartment is near several bus lines.
Grocery shopping is within blocks, and major grocery stores a mile away.
There are restaurants, bars, bakeries, drug stores and cafes within a few blocks, in the beautiful, vibrant neighborhood of North Beach.
If you have a car: street parking is very difficult, and the garages nearby have waiting lists.
Rent is $1350 with a $1350 security deposit.
The lease is for one year and then month to month.
There will be a credit check.
Other costs are half of utilities and half of internet.
Your portion will run about $110 in winter and $80 the rest of the year.
