We offer art workshops led by local artisans in a beautiful garden courtyard.
We also offer retail by carefully curating artisanally made goods sold in studio and online.
We are expanding into a scent studio, offering candle-making opportunities, custom scent creation, and in-house product production.
We have an opening for an Workshop & Production Assistant to maintain our team and operations.
Someone that is organized, responsible, and takes initiative with minimal supervision that wants to get hands-on experience in a small business startup environment.
We are looking for someone to assist in the in-person operations of workshops, events, and product production at the studio.
This role will report to and have guidance from the owner of the company.
An interest in art, design or special events is a plus, but not required.

Must be available to work on Saturdays.
*Experience:* 3+ years experience in customer service / retail roles, 1+ year in events management and/or administrative management is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
1.
Assist in facilitating Creative Workshops:
-setup, breakdown, materials prep, restocking, inventory control
-scheduling and customer support
2.
Assist in product production:
- Production of Swirl Made products, including candles and other scented products
- No experience necessary.
We will train the right candidate! An excitement for product production, eagerness to learn, and commitment to quality are traits we are looking for.
3.
Facilitate Scent Bar experiences:
- Lead Scent Bar experience to walk-in and scheduled clients
- Must have customer service experience, but scent bar experience is not required.
We will train the right candidate! We are interested in you if you enjoy talking to customers and have a positive attitude.
4.
Retail Sales:
- Run the POS and engage with customers
- Experience in retail sales a plus
Must be available to work in person at least 3 days a week for 5-6 hour shifts, including Saturday availability.

* Proficient and tech-savvy with basic office platforms like Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive, and ability to learn new platforms quickly.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email with ability to work well cross-functionally
* Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and accuracy, deadlines and reporting
* Ability to pivot and grow with the changing needs of the business
* Able to take initiative and recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment
* Highly organized, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
* Professional, punctual, reliable and neat.
* Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information.
* Creative Background is a plus
* Ability to teach other workshops is a plus
* Graphic Design and/or Social Media marketing experience is a plus

Pay: $25.
00 - $30.
