The Path Forward Return to Work program at Zoox is a 16-week paid returnship for experienced professionals returning to the workforce after taking time off for caregiving.

The Zoox Finance team is responsible for managing multiple aspects of our business, including maintaining short and long-term financial models, financial analysis of strategic initiatives and roadmap decisions, implementation of tools and processes to support decision-making, and much more.
As a Senior Financial Analyst supporting the AI and Autonomy groups, you will partner directly with several Zoox organizations to drive financial planning and provide direct analytical support to ensure efficient resource allocation.
This will require a deep understanding of your business partners’ operations and spend drivers; establishing strong working relationships with executives, managers, and individual contributors across multiple departments; and utilizing available and building new systems and tools to establish robust financial models.
The goal for this role is to drive decision-making through providing timely and actionable financial insights.
A successful candidate should be willing and able to work through ambiguity, understand the financial needs of your business partners, and utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to optimize capital utilization.
In this role, you will: Finance partner to Software, IT, and other groups responsible for the development of Zoox’s autonomous driving capabilities Own long-range, annual, and mid-year financial/operational planning for your business partners including strategic alternatives analyses, financial modeling, and headcount planning Analyze large financial datasets from Anaplan, SAP S4, and SAP Ariba to enable financial operations and create actionable insights Partner with central support organizations (including Program Management and Strategy) to develop and recommend future operational scenarios Qualifications BA/BS degree, ideally in Finance, Accounting, or a quantitative field 8+ years experience in an FP&A or similar analytical role such as consulting within a software development organization Preferred Qualifications Experience working directly with engineering teams Experience with cloud and on-prem compute and data storage technologies and financial planning and management Experience developing processes for and executing long-range strategic planning, annual budgeting, rolling forecasting, and capital budgeting cycles Direct experience building driver-based models, forecast input templates, executive dashboards, and business process development with Anaplan or other financial planning software Experience with enterprise-scale financial planning and analysis or ERP system Highly analytical, with proven ability to synthesize and analyze large amounts of data to develop clear insights and recommendations Ability to develop strong, cross-functional working relationships across the finance team and beyond There are three major components to compensation for this position: pay, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights.
The pay range for this position is $155,000 to $195,000.
A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package.
Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level.
Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance.
The pay range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
