Senior Financial Analyst- Redwood City, CA
We're looking for a Senior Financial Analyst with experience in Excel financial modeling and data analytics skills, to join our team in Redwood City, CA.
You will report to the Sr.
Director of FP&A.
You will provide financial analysis support to a cross-functional team which is focused on analyzing complex SaaS sales deals, expense forecasting duties, and other ad hoc analyses.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do
Prepare Monthly Reporting for Special Deals – You will support Finance, Sales Compensation, and Operations through analyzing the impact of these deals.
Your analysis will contribute to the accurate reporting of sales results, inform the sales commission payments, and understand the impact of these deals through their lifecycle.
Analyze Deal Profitability for Special Deals – You will support Sales Strategy by analyzing deal profitability for a subset of their special deals, contributing to Informatica on these deals profitably.
Expense Forecasting and Reporting – You will own the forecasting and reporting for software royalties.
This includes performing the monthly analysis of actuals, monthly forecasting, annual planning, and engaging with the R&D and Legal teams to analyze royalty vendors periodically.
Ad Hoc Analysis and Special Projects – You will be asked to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and to assist with multiple ad hoc projects.
This includes updating complex Excel deal analysis templates.
Role Essentials
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another quantitative field
5+ years of relevant experience, including in corporate finance, accounting, or management consulting
Excel financial modeling and data analytics skills
Experience working with multiple cross-functional groups
Manage dynamic workload of changing priorities
Collaborative team player
Develop useful and recommendations and communicate results effectively to all levels of management
Experience with PowerBI and Salesforce.

Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience
