Tax Preparer / Enrolled agent needed (san mateo)

A small tax office providing personalized service in the San Mateo Area is looking for 1-2 full-time tax preparers for a seasonal position.
The ideal candidate has several years of experience.
There will be plenty of room to be challenged, and learn from more experienced CPAs.
We have a flexible working arrangement - you can set your hours, you can split time between home and in the office.
Essential Functions Reviews tax information submitted by clients.
Possesses knowledge of tax regulations in order to answer clients’ questions.
Prepares personal and business tax returns of various complexities.
Prepares personal tax projections through use of computer software.
Works with confidential client matters; requires ability to keep matters confidential.
Required Experience and Skills At least two years of experience preparing tax returns.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office products Ultratax experience required Comfortable working off multiple monitors in a paperless environment.
Willingness to learn new software and establish procedures.
Willing to get your hands dirty in all aspects of the business.
Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or bachelor’s degree in another discipline with various course work in taxes and accounting, through intermediate level.
