Episcopal Day School of St.
Matthew seeks a temporary Development Data and Events Support Assistant.
This role will support the Director of Development.
This individual represents the school with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for the mission of the school.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Report to the Development Director
Collaborative with a five person Advancement team in an active, fast-paced Pre-Kindergarten - 8th Grade school
Regularly interact with students, families, faculty and staff
Data entry (Raiser's Edge is a plus will train)
Management of parties and events from start to finish for 10 to 200 guests
Assistance executing on end of year and graduation events
Support the Registrar with Head of School administrative duties
Qualifications:
Organization and attention to detail
Raiser's Edge experience is preferred but not required
Database experience required
Able to lift 30 lbs
A High School diploma
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Work is in an active, fast-paced environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and various contacts.
Must be able to move safely and comfortably over a large campus regularly.
May work at a desk and computer for extended periods of time (up to 8+ hours per day).
Work primarily in a traditional climate-controlled office environment and outside in weather ranging from cold and wet to hot (80+ degrees).
Ability to safely and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
And regularly lift up to 10 lbs.
Regularly sit, talk, walk, hear and interact with students, parents, staff and visitors.
Regularly use close and distance vision.
Turn, bend, reach and occasionally use a step ladder.
Must comply with all state vaccination requirements, including, but not limited to COVID-19 or proof of eligibility for exemption.
Compensation:
This is a temporary non-exempt position for the period of April 8, 2024 through June 30, 2024.
Hourly wage is $30.
00 - $35.
00 and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
