*Role Overview:*
As a Life Skills Coach with Sentry Living Solutions, you will be at the forefront of our mission, teaching vital independent living skills to adults with disabilities.
This role is about more than just assistance; it's about empowering individuals to live their best lives with confidence and self-reliance.
*Responsibilities:*
* Provide personalized support and instruction in independent living skills.
* Engage, motivate, and creatively problem-solve to meet individual needs.
* Conduct regular visits to clients in San Ramon, Walnut Creek, and surrounding areas (mileage reimbursed).
* Administrative duties, including report writing, documentation, and communication with the team.
* Advocate for your clients, ensuring their path to independence is clear and achievable.
*Who We're Looking For:*
* Compassionate individuals with a knack for adaptability and problem-solving.
* Self-starters who are dependable, with high accountability and minimal supervision required.
* Excellent communicators with intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel.
* Previous experience in Independent Living Services, caregiving, or similar fields is preferred but not mandatory.
We welcome those passionate about helping others, including providing care to family or friends with disabilities.
* Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and be willing to travel within a 35-40 mile radius to meet with clients.
*Requirements:*
* Ability to pass a DOJ background check/Live-Scan.
* Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
