About us
CCSC was established in 1969 in Stanford University as a parent-cooperative child care center and the very first child care center on campus.
Our strength comes from the strong collaboration among parents, teachers, and the administrative staff dedicated to the well-being of children 8 weeks to 5 years of age.
We take a child-centered, hands-on approach to learning—drawing inspiration from the work of Magda Gerber, Piaget, Vygotsky, and the schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy, among others.
