The fantastic dining table is gone, but the 4 elegant, antique, dining chairs remain - and are FREE.
These were in an earlier CL ad, intended to be given away together - but the guy who took the table didn't need the chairs.
They are in very good -to - excellent condition (re-upholstered, of course), and I just want to let them go into new hands, as I am clearing out the family's storage unit in Redwood City, and only have two more working days in California.
They were originally in my grandmother's elegant house, then my mother's, and have been in clean dry storage for 35 years.
I don't have much in the way of photos, since the original ad was for the table, primarily - but I will include a shot showing the table, alongside the 4 chairs, and then I think I have a shot of one of the chairs by itself.
That should give you the idea.
I will be around the storage facility tomorrow, back and forth, but am staying very close by, and could come there to hand off the chairs up until about 4pm.
I just want to see these furniture items go into new hands, and be off my to-do list, and help empty the storage unit.
The storage facility is just one minute off Hwy 101 and Whipple, in RWC.
It is gated, locked, surveilled, with an on-site attendant; therefore super safe.
You would likely want to bring a full-sized car, or, a small hatchback or SUV would be plenty.
The hand-off MUST be either tomorrow (Friday) around mid-day, or, Saturday afternoon.
Then I am gone, departing the Peninsula again (where I lived for most of 70 years).
These are elegant and very classic chairs, and I think you will like them.
RATHER than using either Craigs List relay email, or personal email, we should communicate by text or phone call if you are interested, as I do not have email on my phone, and there is no internet access at the facility.
Or, if you think you are very interested, use email tonight, and I will check for emails in the morning early, before leaving for the location.
Thanks, Steve

If you want a FREE, French roll top desk (a "secretary"), from circa 1790.

check that ad in Craigs List.
The guy who spoke for it bailed-out.
It's very beautiful.
Not intended to be a daily working desk - more of an "art piece", decorative (as we did in my mother's house).
