This is old folk art.
Not what is coming out of Mexico today.
It's in good shape with just a little light scratching and a few small dings to the hand painted, then burnished finish.
The reverse is unglazed and stamped Mexico.
Completely hand formed.
The plate is for hanging, and never was intended as dinnerware as it's formed with a clay hole on the back for cord or wire.
Deep Colorful flower design.
Clean, from non-smoking home.
