It's hard to believe this ranch is in Oakland.
Behind a gate, on a private road in the hills, is a beautiful but low-key ranch that has 4 acres of land and undeveloped land all around it.
There's a corral, a barn, and a water trough where all kinds of wildlife refresh themselves.
We see deer and other animals on the regular.
There are gorgeous sunset views and we can almost see the sunrise, too!
Two adults in their 50s live in the main house with two dogs and we foster rescue dogs, too (our yard is completely separate from the studio and its entrance).
We are pretty low key and have physical jobs where we're not sitting at a computer all day.
We are white, identify as he and she and straight, but we're open to anyone with any gender identity or sexual orientation.

The upstairs studio is available Nov.
15 or December 1.
Rent is $1550 (utilities and Internet included).
The tenant must pass a background check and first month's rent and a deposit of $2500 are required.
Pets are considered and there would be an additional pet security deposit.
It is small and there is a kitchenette.
There's also a second full-size refrigerator and a microwave in the carport that the tenant is welcome to use.
The studio has its own entrance, private deck, and parking space.
I didn't count the bathroom as part of the square feet, so it's a little bigger than 140 square feet.
I would like to rent to one person who is pretty quiet and doesn't do a lot of entertaining, and is up for a simple life.
The studio is not currently furnished, but I am open to furnishing the studio if that would be helpful, for an additional monthly fee.
The neighborhood is called the Caballo Hills and it's east of 580 at the Edwards Ave.
