*Responsibilities:* * _Design_, code and _test_ software primarily in _Ruby_, _Java_ and _ReactJS_ * Help scale our platform as we expand and find the right balance between the power of the _Rails_ monolith and flexibility of _micro_ services * Work with the Product and _Design_ teams to build new features to solve business problems and fill business needs * Create and maintain reusable components and libraries to support all areas of the _application_ * Guide _architecture_ through mentoring and evangelism of best practices * Participate in code reviews to create robust and maintainable code * Work in an agile environment where quick iterations and good feedback are a way of life * Continually look for opportunities to improve our platform, process, and business * Communicate and coordinate with our support and professional services teams to solve customer issues * Provide support for customer escalations and production deployments by debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving issues * Manage customer expectations and work with Coupa / Customer project managers and Architects to meet project timeline and implementation obligations *Requirements:* * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, systems analysis or a related discipline, or equivalent work _experience_ * 4+ years of experiences building _enterprise_, SaaS web applications using modern Javascript frameworks technologies such as _ReactJS_, Typescript and strong knowledge of Javascript, CSS, HTML5 * Hands on _experience_ building responsive UI, Single Page _Application_, reusable components, with a keen eye for UI _design_ and usability * _Experience_ with web-accessibility/WCAG standards, i18n best practices, cross browser compatibility and performance * Passion for keeping up with the latest trends in the Frontend developer community and eagerness to bring in the outside-in thinking in the products we build * Strong knowledge of APIs, and integration with the backend The estimated _pay_ ranges for this role are as follows:• Based in California: $155,125 - 182,500 The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, _experience_, and geographic location within the state.
