Position Overview:
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is seeking a Teamcenter Analyst/Document Control.
In this role, the candidate will manage the daily responsibilities of Data Management, Teamcenter Document structure (Configuration Management) and Document Control.
The position is in the CAD Applications group which reports to the Department Head for Design Services/CAD Applications in the Accelerator Directorate.
Given the nature of this position, SLAC will require onsite work.
Your Specific Responsibilities Include:
Perform configuration management, BOM management and change management with the ability to apply the skill set to a dynamic environment.
Lead and coordinates continuous improvement projects to improve quality, efficiency of Document Control process and/or enhance customer experience.
Primary point of contact for incoming and outcoming transmittals
Verify and validate that the User created documents/document structures/ BOM’s and metadata information have been properly executed and the to-be released items conform to departments document release standards.
Review existing documentation and part structuring for correctness and completeness.
Work with project department leads to ensure timely documentation processing and future updates.
Ensure intended changes are released of high-quality information.
Work closely and support Engineers for BOM creation and EC support.
Initiates drawing release workflows and follows thru to document release.
Set up and train users on the use of the Teamcenter PLM Tool.
Develop and maintain work instructions, template and training material related to this role
Recognizes best practices of PLM systems and implements changes to enable SLAC to maintain best in class practices.
Write and document Policies and Procedures.
Gain agreement on the policies and procedures across departments.

To be successful in this position you will bring:
Associate degree in related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Advanced proficiency in Document management, configuration management and document control principals.
Expert knowledge in BOM management and Change management
Advanced proficiency in PLM document management such as Enovia, Agile, Teamcenter, etc.
Advanced Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar software.
Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and balance multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teamcenter PLM experience is a plus.

The expected pay range for this position is $90,000 to $112,000 per annum.
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory/Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position.
The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
