DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Provide technical vision and direction for the team.
Architect key components of the firm’s systems on microservice architecture with enhanced product adaptability and scalability.
Ideate, design, and develop extensible and reliable features on the next-generation book-keeping ledger infrastructure.
Lead project that contributes to improving the scalability and reliability of payment processing and related services.
Prioritize the execution of the team’s project initiatives based on the strategic business objectives of the company.
Perform design reviews for software architecture design proposals and advocate good software design principles, ensuring they meet the compliance and security requirements, and align with the long-term engineering vision.
Plan and coordinate the day-to-day execution of the team’s project goals through Agile practices, provide estimates, resolve conflicts, and align other teams to ensure timely delivery.
Collaborate with the product org and other engineering teams to create strategic and tactical roadmaps for the team.
Manage performance, enable growth through mentorship, and recommend promotions for direct reports.
Conduct performance reviews.
Make hiring decisions to hire new talent and expand your team.
Conduct Interviews for potential engineers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Kafka; Pinot; MySQL; BigQuery; PHP; Java; gPRC; REST; Kubernetes; Google Cloud Platform; Instana; Grafana; Acme; and Cassandra.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time.
Salary: $250,000 - $260,000 per year.
