Embedded Systems Diagnostics Engineer Ford Model e Platform Architecture Engineering is looking for an Embedded Prototyping engineer to work on diagnostic tools for Ford vehicles.

in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• 5+ years proven working experience in mechanical/software/hardware engineering (C, C++ and Python)
• 5+ years of PCB design with board bring up expertise
• 3+ Hands-on development and troubleshooting experience with embedded systems
• 2+ years’ experience designing and developing vehicle test tools

• Demonstrated mastery of board and vehicle diagnostics and tooling
• Must have direct knowledge of automotive ethernet, CAN, LIN, and the latest automotive communications standards
• Strong documentation, writing, and communications skills
• Familiarity with current automotive HIL methodologies a plus
