Oracle Unity is looking for a passionate and talented Software Architect/Sr Principal Software Developer to join our global MADTECH team.
In this role, you will be responsible for expanding the suite of Cloud products and enhancing integrated cross-channel marketing solutions for Fortune 500's top brands.
The ideal candidate must have passion for solving complex and interesting problems in the area of systems integrations, high volume data processing and large-scale system design.
As a Senior member of the development and architecture team, you will assist in defining and developing new releases of software, provide technical leadership to other software developers, and implement changes to existing software to meet changing needs.
Develop designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems.
Facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.
You will be responsible for the design and delivery of the mission critical stack, with focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance.
Authority for end-to-end performance and operability and help solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence.
Design, write, and deploy software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services.
Identify solutions to knowledge of server hardware and software configuration, networking, standard internet services, scripting languages, cloud computing patterns, technology security and compliance.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment.
You should be experienced in running large scale customer facing web services.
Identifies solutions to understanding of load balancing technologies and experience with development in programming languages, databases and big data stores, and container technologies.
Work involves defining and documenting technical architecture of complex and highly scalable products.
BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
12+ years of software engineering or related experience.
Career Level - IC5 Responsibilities: Be a subject matter expert (technical) on oracle Unity.
Act as a trusted technical advisor to both internal and customer stakeholders.
Perform architectural audits of implementations and help resolve escalated issues by suggesting technical best practices independently.
Exercise excellent judgment, at a faster-than average pace, while paying extremely close attention to the details.
Use business and technical analysis skills to solve complex issues and creating innovative workarounds and solutions to customer’s unique business needs.
Work with the product management and development organizations to provide execution details on technical architecture for future releases.
Develop automation, tools, solutions and processes associated with CICDCV of the software following zero downtime principle.
Automate our operational and release processes as much as possible, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements.
Design and drive implementation of a robust observability solution.
Setup and improve on backup/restore as part of disaster recovery and high availability process Build and maintain cloud infrastructure architecture aligning security, compliance, performance and resilience.
Provide expertise and best practices for implementing cloud security (internal) and product security (external).
Contribute technical content to Deployment Guides, Knowledge Base, FAQ’s etc.
Work as part of our Customer Engineering team in a start-up atmosphere, doing whatever it takes to exceed customer expectations.
To be part of on-call rotational support model as needed.
Must have a complete understanding of the product architecture and be totally familiarized.
Must be able to render the customers with some of the best practices for integrations and suggest how to derive the best out of our product.
Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences Comfortable in a collaborative, agile development environment.
Must have Qualifications: BS/MS/PhD in computer science or equivalent work experience 10+ years in Full stack Deployment experience working on one or more major cloud providers like OCI, AWS, GCP and Azure etc.
8+ years in architecting, implementing and deploying applications involving Java, Springboot, JMS, relational databases and SQL 5+ years of experience in containers, microservices and appliable frameworks.
Familiarity and understanding of distributed computing and cloud-based platforms.
Strong understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps practices and principles with security-first mindset.
Strong experience in system administration on Linux and network tools and technologies on cloud.
Strong experience in automation, scripting and Infrastructure as code frameworks such as Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible etc.
Strong experience in Jenkins and/or Argo CD (good to have).
Strong experience in managing services, containers in orchestration systems such as Docker and Kubernetes etc.
Strong technical knowledge of monitoring and building dashboards (e.
