Embedded Firmware Engineer (Independent Contractor)

*What You'll Be Doing:* • Develop cutting-edge embedded software engineering solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to embedded software engineering.
• Design, implement, and maintain embedded software systems.
• Collaborate with other engineers and teams to ensure efficient operation of embedded software systems.
• Monitor system performance and address any potential issues.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the embedded software engineering space.
• Prepare technical documentation for embedded software systems.
• Assist in the development of project plans and timelines.
*What We Are Looking For:* • Typically requires 5+ years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.
• Strong Embedded Engineer comfortable across stack from sensor-hub, various HW abstraction layers, through to OS (Android/Linux) • Experience with low-power embedded systems development in C/C++ • Experience with health or motion sensors: data collection, signal processing, developing and deploying algorithms.
• Prior experience on Wearables, Mobile phone or Healthcare devices preferred.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $135,608.
