Embedded Android Engineer

Job Title: Embedded Android Engineer Location: Burlingame, CA Duration: Permanent Screening questions: What is your experience with Android/AOSP? Do you have experience with Android internals or AOSP development? How familiar are you with lower-level OS components and core OS concepts? What is your experience with microcontrollers and device drivers? Have you worked with any Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) such as Zephyr RTOS or FreeRTOS? What experience do you have with system performance tools and debugging hardware? What We Are Looking For: • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) Typically requires a 4-year degree and a minimum of 5+ years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• * Android/AOSP / CoreOS, Android Core Frameworks, Linux OS focus.
• Experience with coding in C/C++ • Strong understanding lower level OS (core components/core OS) • * Experience with Embedded Systems • Experience working with microcontrollers • Experience with device drivers • Microcontollers/bootloaders • 3+ years experience with any of the following: Android internals, AOSP, Zephyr RTOS, or FreeRTOS development.
• 3+ years of experience developing MCU or AOSP consumer electronics system.
• * Experience with system performance tools and debugging hardware.
• Experience with Android frameworks and services Mandatory skills - (Embedded or Firmware) AND Android AND Linux AND (Bootloader OR Kernel OR microcontroller OR driver)
